On the clinical course these tumors are much more aggressive than epithelial tumors of the thymus. In most of observations in NECTs there is pronounced macro- and microinvasion in the mediastinal tissue and in 30% of patients there are reveled remote metastases. The study included 17 NECT patients. Surgery is the only radical method in the treatment of such patients. 17 NECT patients were operated, 3 of them were operated again due to incomplete operations in other clinics. The vast majority of patients (58.8%) at the time of visiting had advanced stage of the disease. Out of the entire group in 7 patients NECT was associated with ectopic syndrome of varying severity. According to long-term results after surgical treatment of the overall 5-year survival rate was 62.2%.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Диагностика и лечение нейроэндокринных опухолей (НЭО) тимуса представляет значительную проблему в онкологии. Эти опухоли по клиническому течению значительно более агрессивны, чем эпителиальные опухоли вилочковой железы. При них в большинстве наблюдений выражена макро- и микроинвазия в ткани средостения и у 30% больных выявляют отдаленные метастазы. В исследование включены 17 пациентов с НЭО тимуса. Хирургический метод остается единственным радикальным в лечении таких больных. Оперированы 17 пациентов с НЭО тимуса, 3 из них повторно в связи с нерадикально выполненными операциями в других клиниках. Абсолютное большинство пациентов (58,8%) к моменту обращения имели запущенную стадию заболевания. Из всей группы у 7 пациентов НЭО тимуса сочеталась с эктопированными синдромами различной степени тяжести.
