Abstract

The subject of the description is the information potential of the Linguistic Encyclopedic Dictionary. The substantial textual differences between the first edition (1990) and the second (2002) are described. The information potential of a book is the sum of the substantial information differences between a possible (future) republication of a book and the information contained in already published editions of this book. The logical and semantic structure of the information potential of this book is described.
