Abstract
Merkel cell carcinoma is a rare rapidly progressing neuroendocrine skin tumor with frequent metastasis and low survival. The interaction of endogenous and exogenous risk factors represents a multifaceted etiology of the disease. The diagnosis of Merkel cell carcinoma is extremely difficult that’s why it can be mistaken for another dermatological disease. This fact can negatively affect the prognosis of survival of the patient. This article presents a clinical case of diagnosis of Merkel cell carcinoma with adrenal metastasis which is a rare localization of distant metastasis of this tumor.
