Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the verbal word features formation with the prefix ИЗ- in the Arkhangelsk region dialects. Based on the correlation of the meanings of the motivated and motivating verbs and their distribution into semantic groups, the prefix ИЗ- meanings are determined. The systemic connections between them are also described. The synonymy of the specific meaning of the prefix ИЗ-, on the basis of which synonymous pairs and triplets of verbs function in dialects (izvýknut̕ – privýknut̕, izgulyát̕ – nagulyát̕, izmúchit̕sya – primúchit̕sya – isprimúchit̕sya), with other prefixes of the Russian language has been revealed. Some conditions of the contextual use of ИЗ-verbs are characterized. Criteria for determining the productivity of word-formation types of verbal prefix are proposed.
